16 Dec Ignacio Aldecoa award
The literary prize “Ignacio Aldecoa” was awarded in 2017 to Xabier Etxeberria. This contest is the most important award for short stories in the Basque language modality, and is organized by the Provincial Council of Alava.
Xabier has won the contest with his story entitled “1982”, a realistic story based on a retrospective, but in no way idealized, his childhood and the convulsive years of the 80’s in the Basque Country.
